According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Also interested in a GTX 680. Not interested in a Radeon because of bad microstutter with multi-gpu solutions, and no proper windowed multi-gpu support. Also I won't be tempted to bitcoin mine with it, so I can keep it running longer without 24/7 stress and having it break down.

I have a sapphire reference 7970 RMA replacement with over a year and a half on the warranty left.

Would take 290 for it plus shipping.

Only want bitcoins tough.

Thanks,
Andrew
