{ Imagine a sequence of bits generated from the first decimal place of the square roots of whole integers that are irrational numbers. If the decimal falls between 0 and 5, it's considered bit 0, and if it falls between 5 and 10, it's considered bit 1. This sequence from a simple integer count of contiguous irrationals and their logical decimal expansion of the first decimal place is called the 'main irrational stream.' Our goal is to design a physical and optical computing system system that can detect when this stream starts matching a specific pattern of a given size of bits. bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=166760.0 } Satoshi did use a friend class in C++ and put a comment on the code saying: "This is why people hate C++".

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

i think hes asking if its a good book or not.
notice he said its not rated yet

i have no clue, but a book is always better then getting bits and pieces off the net.

Not sure if it's the exact same book, but at least it's the same programming language, crypto and the same author, so it should give an idea:
http://www.amazon.com/Cryptography-C-Michael-Welschenbach/product-reviews/1590595025/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1

Seems like it's gotten plenty of good reviews.
