HELP!!!!!! Accidentally sent money

I just went to CVS and made a bitinstant payment into my bitcoin account. I went onto my email and recieved the confirmation from bitinstant telling me the transaction was complete and that the bitcoins are in my account. I went on blockchain and it showed

num of transactions: 1
bitcoins recieved: 8.3838100000000004
final balance: 8.3838100000000004

I was trying to figure out why the money wasn't showing up in my silk road bitcoin wallet though. So I started messing around on blockchain.info. I think I clicked request payment or something like that and the next thing I know my

num of transactions is 2
bitcoins recieved is still 8.3838100000000004
but final balance is 0

i look down and it says that I have an unconfirmed transaction where my address is sending 8.3838100000000004 to an address that I've never seen before...

I don't know what the h*** I did I had a bad feeling about this bitinstant thing I've never used blockchain before and I'm freaking out because I think that I just sent over $100 to some random person!!!!!

Before I messed everything up why did blockchain show that I had bitcoins but my silk road wallet was empty?
Can I cancel this unconfirmed transaction?

Maybe they are a user here and will say something if they are a nice person or will come forward if they see the thread but there are plenty of bitcoin users who will not see this thread or use the forum at all. You're sorta out of luck I guess.

silk road wallet can take longer to show coins than blockchain.info wallet. Nothing unusual about that.

It takes extra time for them to get to your SR wallet after sending. Did you get bitinstant to deposit the coins directly to SR?

Yes 1CV1iZ988gC56ffSjL3YRv3kuDCKi3DZSR is my silkroad address. So when I entered it into the bitinstant form I assumed it would deposit it directly into my SR account right??

Correct.

Although when you send anything to a silk road address there will be some time lag as they tumble the coins I believe for anonymity i believe.

If you send 1 BTC from your blockchain wallet to your SR wallet then it will take about an hour or so.

If you sent the coins straight to silk road, I suspect they could just be moving your coins around internally, but will still credit your account as per normal.

Yeah I was gonna say I never logged into my wallet on this website. I just searched my address through blockchain just like you guys did. All that does is let me monitor the address, not make transactions right? Do you think silkroad is just processing my btc right now?
