I've discovered that my 6950 cards are not the standard reference cards with the BIOS switch.  Has anyone had experience using a modified 6950 BIOS that worked on a card like this?  If so can you educate me or point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

I've been doing some reading on flashing and unlocking. From what I can tell there seems to be some benefits to overclocking after flashing with the 6970 BIOS. I've read that some people have been able to obtain higher clock speeds than with the stock 6950 BIOS.

Once I get my card and unlock (if possible) and flash it I'll be sure to share my finding.

After a few hours of research as well as attemtpting to flash my cards I have concluded my non-reference 6950 are unflashable.  They simply will not accept overwriting the BIOS.  "Cannot Erase ROM"
