Then a voucher should never be brought up, let alone used to sway a loan.

When the subject of buying BTC with Paypal comes up, I often remember this:

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Well damn.  He did fit the scammer profile, but the voucher from a senior member overrode that for me, especially when he mentioned multiple transactions.  I guess it would have helped if he had expanded on the nature of those transactions (ie. were they for like .1 BTC or something trivial like that?).  Oh well, live and learn.

And he didn't pay -.-

Looks like a default.

The voucher should NOT be liable for the loan. It's like, "What do you think about Skyrim?" "Skyrim is great! It's so much fun. You should get it." "Skyrim sucks! Why did you tell me it was great? I'm going to kill you!"

I think I should. Will contact Stephen personally, and if in 24 hours we don't have a result I will pay back the loan principal to Carlos L., if he agrees. This is a good way to learn my lesson.

Well, +1... I thought I learnt a lot after so many scammer threads. I'm still hoping that Stephen's account was hacked or something though for the faith in humanity.  Cry

I still have faith he'll pay back. If he does, I'll send back those 10 BTC plus 0.50 BTC (50% interest).
You're a great guy, thank you so much.
