he is really pro bitcoin, and he certainly seems switched on to the tech generation,
in the Wallet descrition he says Bitcoin will soon be the currency we use!
I like him as player, and this could be a news that can break some doubters about btc and it's potential. If Mike say: "Use my wallet! USE BTC " How you can refuse ?!?

Could you please refer to any authentic source for this? Agreed! I'd love to see a real source on this story. I know he already installed a Bitcoin ATM, but this is new.

This is the route for adoption... whoever is involved in marketing the product (who the hell is doing this?) should actively pursue celebs... their tweets alone will cause a significant tremor.

I just wish they could have gone for someone a bit higher brow (and more expensive), with a bit more tact. Tyson is a bit of a joke to most of the world. But any exposure is good exposure eh?

Yes I've given a little thought about it and imagine if someone like Di Caprio starts talking about Bitcoin. I mention Di Caprio because he is a huge enviromentalist, but you get the point. People will associate BTC with something cool and on vogue. Perhaps it's not the best though, it could backlash really quick and turn Bitcoin into a trend.

I knew there was a Mike Tyson affiliated bitcoin ATM. Didn't know about this though.
I wonder how he got into bitcoin or are people just paying him to advertise these things for them?
I wonder if he genuinely has any interest in bitcoin himself?
I have these same questions. It is great that he is into it but it escapes me how he is all in? Don't really think of him as a techie. Again, who cares! Great press for Bitcoin. This is just a marketing move, I want to see an interview with him personally addressing Bitcoin, until then I will just keep assuming that he gave permission for his public image to be used in this marketing campaign to attract more viewers, that's all there's to it unless Mike surprises us and it turns out he is actually into it and somewhat knowledgeable.

I don't understand... Was Mike Tyson a early adopter? Is he funding this new online "wallet" of sorts, so people can buy directly through him? Or is he using another exchange site that goes through his wallet? Regardless, it's interesting... but I won't be using it, because it looks like it's exactly like coinbase, circle, etc. ... and I don't even trust them completely; let alone me trusting fucking MIKE TYSON with my funds and linking my bank account and everything there. Haha, times are getting weird in crypto land I suppose...

Really interesting, somebody the majority of people wouldn't expect to be involved in Bitcoin, very welcome though.

Notice that it's a fork of the Copay code. I'm OK with this.

I'm not sure if he really is an crypto enthusiast. I believe he is again just giving his name and face for the purpose of marketing.I don't know about his actual financial situation, that might play a role. But it's cool though.Tyson goes crypto!

Can't find anything on google about this.. Where did you get the information from?
Would've expected quite some news coverage from something like this.
It's starting to get covered by big sites, and Google's starting to spider through the stories. It's on the time website, and that's a big achievement. All the other big websites will follow time's lead and be doing their own stories on the wallet tomorrow. Tyson's wallet's good publicity for bitcoin.

It's pretty strange that they hired the services of Mike Tyson as a face of their company. Everyone knows about his not so good past but most know him as a very good boxer a knock out artist to be exact but having him as a face sounds strange.
