Hi again.

I'm interested to get some opinions on what's the best anti-bot and captcha for a custom faucet which involves a game where you need to click on a button in order to make  an action in game.

I've found many scripts in here which eliminate known TOR/bot IPs, but that's not a solution to be honest.
I'm trying to find the easiest way I can block bots w/o making user's experience difficult.

Any captcha will do. Funcaptcha is good. People here might claim that it can be bypassed by bots but I have yet to see the proof. No one can give me proof.
Funcaptcha is fun and the owners of FC have a whitehat reward program; They pay people to try to crack/bypass their captcha.

The problem nowadays aren't bots but vpn/proxy users. I have had 210+ claims today in less than 11 hours. Thats over 150000 satoshis saved. Check my dilemma:

I came across your post earlier, and I have the same questions.

You don't want to block traffic from VPNs/Proxies, but what you can do is block them from claiming from your faucet.

Would you mind PMing me with you faucet's link, if not a problem?

Regarding your bitcoin target. I think it would take a lot of time to achieve it. Of course, you could promote your faucet by investing the money you earn and speed up that process.

Go with adsense, they're the best if you want to make money.

I don't block the traffic, I block the claiming. I'll PM you my link. It's no secret which faucet I own. Smiley

I did promote. I have daily real/honest users.

My adsense application got rejected. Google doesn't like faucets. All the Google ads on faucets were put there against the Google rules. Doesn't matter really; I'm earning very little but I have fun running the site. Smiley

You have a very nice site I must say.

Sorry to hear about google Sad They can be assholes sometimes, for no reason.
What they ask is content on people's websites. I don't see why you didn't get accepted, since you have content on your website?

I had my site up for auction a few days ago. I'm a bit happy I still have it. Could you share your site? PM perhaps?

I guess it wasn't content enough. Again, it's ok. Smiley

Stick to your project, don't sell it yet. It's easy to get more traffic without spending any money.

Regarding my site, it's not public yet. Still doing some tweaks here and there.
Will post it soon (I hope)

The best captcha is Recaptcha. Trust me, I've worked in the internet marketing field in the past and no software can 100% crack this, only human-run captcha solving services.

Yeah Recaptcha is by far the most reliable one. I use it on many of my sites.
Google owning Recaptcha is no problem since users don't have to fill in personal data.

I heard there are also captcha's where you can earn.
Who is the publisher of those?

Before entering the captcha you see a little form of advertising?

I can't remember the name of the one you're referring to, but I know which one you mean.

They don't allow any ranks. Your rank has to be good, and minimum withdraw is $200. Which makes it kinda hard for new websites to earn money through their service Sad

Most certain ReCaptcha.
There is a big team of Google developers helping and updating it.
This way you're sure they beat the captcha sellers.

I have added ReCaptcha. Did a lot of research and figured out it's the best one, indeed.

Thanks everyone for your help

Earning with a captcha service is nice, but you can't be sure of it's security.
With ReCaptcha you are sure it's close to hack proof.

Good luck!
