Hi, I would like to offer my service to generate vanity onion address' using a split method (So i never know your final private key)

At the moment i am only willing to generate up to 9 chars, however i could be incentivised to generate up to 10.
Please note 10 takes between 1 - 5 days depending on luck!
However 9 usually takes ~5 hours.
8 up to ~30 mins.
<8 ~ 2 mins

Because i am new here i am willing do do less than 8 for free
i will be offering 5  8 ones for free (donations welcome) (Full members + get priority)
This is to show that i am serious Smiley

After that I would like around 0.0068 B for the 8 chars Smiley

Full members + I would be willing to deliver before payment as again i am new to build up reputation. As long as you post in this thread requesting the service and will pay after receipt.

The bitcoin address used for this please use: 1GG3V7ADvrgFDx4jLVothMgcbW2dkKPuue

If you are interested then you can contact me or post in this thread. The manual is below Smiley

1) Grab the file needed and check the hash!

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/lachesis/scallion/binaries/scallion-v1.2.zip (Windows)

SHA1 = 376eabf9929f7e94ce9ff687802fea594d965b61  scallion-v1.2.zip

Or download from GIT (none windows)

https://github.com/lachesis/scallion/tree/master#-secure-remote-key-generation

2) After checking the hash matches above, extract the zip. With SHIFT pressed right click in the directory and select (Open command window here, Windows).

3) Generate your private keys and the data for me to search

In the command prompt that should be in your scallion directory type;

Note: prefixabc should be changed to what you would like your vanity address to be

scallion.exe -m prefixab.work -s prefixabc

You will get something like the following;

Generating that pattern will require approximately 549.756 gigahashes.
        That will require on average 516 public keys.
        Generating 2580 keys (for safety's sake).
        Generating key 0 of 2580...
        Generating key 100 of 2580...
        Generating key 200 of 2580...
        Generating key 300 of 2580...
        Generating key 400 of 2580...
        Generating key 500 of 2580...

Once it has finished you should have two extra files in your scallion direcotry

prefixab.work and prefixab.work.priv

prefixab.work.priv contains all the keys for the prefixab.work file and should be kept securely by you. prefix.work should be encrypted with my PGP public key and uploaded
to a file hosting site. (You can split it in rars if needed), You dont have to encrypt it if you dont want to, but you can for extra security
  Please use something like dropbox, onedrive or mega ext.

Once i have generated the file and got a result i will send you back a file named prefixabc.out this will be encrypted with your PGP public key (Unless you dont send me one)

If i did encrypt it with your pub key then you need to decrypt it first then;

place the prefixabc.out into the same directory as prefixab.work and your scallion files and run the following command in the command prompt

scallion.exe -m prefixab.work -r prefixab.out -o prefixab.final

You will get the output like the following

Quote
Ding!! Delicious scallions for you!!

This will also be saved to prefixab.final. To use this you need to go to your tor client and go to the hidden service directory.
You should have 2 files, hostname and private_key.
Delete the hostname file
Edit the private_key file to contain everything between and including the -----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY-----  / -----END RSA PRIVATE KEY-----
tags.
Restart your tor service, hostname file should be made again with your new address inside and be ready for use Smiley

Sorry i should have added that;

The value of using a vanity onion address is it makes it easier to remember / go to your tor site.

If your thinking of hosting or making a hidden service or just want to provide access to your existing website to tor users then a vanity .onion could be beneficial.

For example;

For my electrum server;

electrumaay7a3lc.onion

Is much easier to remember / type in than;

ufw5k7n3ncjfmg4n.onion

This is the benefit it provides Smiley

This is a nice thing but mainly for those people that visit .onion sites or that uses tor browser.
Wishing you success.
