Dunno, price looks pretty stable at the moment and is moving predominantly sideways. Might very well be that watching the value of BTC this january is as boring as watching a snail move from A to B.

It maybe boring to watch but the truth is I personally would rather it move the way it is than the prediction the little ducky made come to fruition. January has been a gloomy time for btc in the past since I've been around so I am expecting nothing less this time around. Unless we have just priced the halving in on this last rise we have got some exciting times to come in the next few months. I do think it has already been priced and that will keep many holding the bag when the dumpage comes. Because lets face it everyone and their aunt knows its going to moon so hard for the halving. |

TA shows this could be a new low.
Crash? +-1% doesn't constitute a rally/crash in bitcoin (or in any other asset class for that matter). We can easily reverse the few dollars decrease in price. |

I always suspect that if a legendary account FUD something like this were sold to someone. Its surprising to see really when someone with a legendary account posting something like this without a link as the source of what made them conclude.
Mind you, if you intend to buy btc today, you can still earn a lot once its value reach more than $500. But i guess i don't have to tell you that.

What is all this fuzz about Legendary account holders? They are as regular as users can get. Just because we have been on this forum for longer doesn't make us any smarter or more (re-)sourceful. If someone wants to post a source or train of thought where he is coming from, fine. If not, he may be taking a wild guess or sharing a personal opinion, fine to me too. Sometimes guesses can be interesting too or shed new light on a subject. This is the speculation forum afterall. Having said this, I wouldn't be surprised to see the price going down to 400 again either. The entire idea of the halving having any effect on the price is based on a misunderstanding of how mining works and Bitcoin is distributed. |

Yes, I don't see any such impending fall or crash as OP described. My strong belief is that bitcoin price is going to rise. I think momentary falls do not mean any such impending crash. |

The Bitcoin crash hasn't begun yet. Just because the coin fell a few bucks, doesn't mean it will keep falling - in fact, most assets fall and rise multiple times a day/week/mont/year.
