Bitmarket.eu admin does not answer

it seems that the bitmarket.eu admin does no longer answer. After some fraud purchases I had to report some scammers that tried to rip my money.. I also have some coins to withdraw but they are only listed as "frozen" already quite some time.  In the past the site was quite reliable, but lately nothing seem to work.


Has anyone same experience?

Usually, frozen coins are automatically released after ten businessdays I think. So to protect the seller against unserious buyers, if you click cancel transaction, and the other person does nothing nor answer to your emails the coins will be unfrozen again. At least this was my experience when I had trouble a few months ago, possibly half a year ago. The buyer's account was closed afterwards by the way. I remember these issues to be the main reason bitmarket closed the buy orders because it would require much more admin involvement.

Until some extraordinary things happened, the market was supposed to run pretty much automatically. As security with anything Bitcoin exists only as long as you are not targeted, I'm not surprised people tried to scam or even hack the system.

Not sure if bitcoin.de is such a good alternative either. Not only do they charge a mandatory fee, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were just as overwhelmed if any such problems happen to them. They feel really safe as in everything seems tightly controlled, but if SHTF how many admins do they have to help? The reputation system is a good thing though.

No, the seller had already confirmed the receipt of my money and the bitcoins were added to my normal bitmarket bitcoin balance.
Only when I wanted to withdraw them they have been frozen.

If you/we don't hear anything from admin in the next 24 hours, I'd say red flags up. How hard could it be to post a message explaining the recent problems. It would calm everyone down. Was the market sold recently? Sorry to say, but you always have to worry about people pulling a bitcoin7 at almost any exchange.

my last successful withdrawal was at 12/12/2012, but only a "tiny" amount of 12 BTC. The current withdrawal is frozen since then (200 BTC), and today is already the 21st. No replies by email.
