Glad I can help. im keeping hold of what i have just in case, but its not looking promising, closed the daemon on my faucet as dev hasnt been active for too long now :/ I'm not %100 sure how crypto currencies are hosted/created, but I have a question. If a DEV abandons a coin, is it possible for the coin to live on if people decide to keep their wallets live? I'm working on a project, implementing crypto as the base for an economy on a minecraft server. I WAS planning on using the spliffcoin as my server is drug related. However I'm not sure if SPL is going to suddenly stop working for some reason? sort no it won't stop working as long as some of us continue to POS mine this coin. Network is running solid with 22 connections and who knows how many wallet open, it is on exchange so yes go for it. Blockexplorer: http://108.61.166.33:3001/

Yes, a coin can live on, even if it's abandoned by the DEV(s). The ElectronicGulden (EFL) for instance is a pretty good example. That coin is running without any DEV's left for more than a year. https://www.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-EFLJust as long as there are people on the blockchain either mining or minting it, a coin can go on and on and on... That's really good to know! I guess I'll continue mining and staking. All looking good: Exchange: check Blockexplorer: check Faucet: check Dev: missing Takeover: ?? Can you get in trouble for taking over a the project without the DEV's permission? If not I would seriously be interested in doing so with the help of others. This coin has already been established, it's a good coin, it'd be a shame to see it go to waste. yes, please do so. u have mine support and guess from others too. i will keep explorer running until further notice.. Sounds like I have the green light on this. My first order of business will be to collect over half of the coins in circulation. If anyone would like to help, feel free to donate some SPL Sia9B9jE1iKaufVcVLy8UUA6QQBDcXn1Vg. In the meantime, I'll continue to mine the POW blocks while they're still available and stake my heart out.
Why do you need to collect over half the coins in circulation?

A project is for everyone, by everyone; provided it's open source. Once a DEV has left, the responsibility of that project befalls to the community, and either stands or dies with it. If you have the support of the community, which I believe you would have, then no, you cannot get into trouble. I side with Ace_Of_Fades: Go for it Sounds like I have the green light on this. Are you going to burn all of them? Crypto world is dirty without rules.
