I am trying to insert image between [img] tag, but when I am previewing it, It shows only image url rather than image, kindly help/guide me.

You need to be a junior member to be able to post images.

if your uploading an avatar,  you can use an online image resizer like this one http://resizeimage.net/ then set the width to 100 and height to 80 (100x80 pixels) and the file size should be not more than 100 kb  but theres no size restriction if your only uploading a photo in a post.

The forum doesn't have a built-in pictures editor so ... you have to resize it yourself. Even a simple application like Paint could resize your image without hassle.

Images still appear as a hyper link when I try to post them with IMG tags, here is a demo:

Because you are not a Jr. Member or a Copper Member. You may wait for your activity to reach 30 so that you become a jr. member or pay a small fee to become a copper member and be able to post the images.

You must read the sticky threads or just google before asking the questions that have already been answered millions of times.
To add an avatar you must atleast be a Full Member.

I was wondering why there was a Copper Member in altcoin bounties section and he can post img even he's just a newbie.
