do not invest more that you are willing to lose. same concept of gambling.
I agree with you when you say that both HYIP and gambling has a concept of don't invest/gamble what you can't afford to lose however the difference between the two is that In gambling you will decide and will be responsible if you will win or lose however on the other hand the HYIP owner will the one who will decide whether you will win or lose , if you invest large sum of bitcoins on HYIP there is large probability that you will lose all your bitcoins.

Agree with you, but however not all gambling sites is a scam. We can't just do it in every gambling sites

I think gambling and hyip are not same. Hyip is a scam and gambling is a risk.
Gambling is like hyip. A user who is investing in a hyip takes the risk of not seeing his money again. Same thing applies to gambling.

What are you saying here? Gambling doesnt same as hyip because with gambling you can earn it a little bit and may be if you are lucky enough you can still hit the jackpot and get a big winning there. But in hyip may be you can get it but you need be the one who first invested like many people said but I dont know that is a true or not. Mostly hyip will open around one month before they scam people

They are not the same. This is the definition of HYIP/Ponzi:

A high-yield investment program (HYIP) is a type of Ponzi scheme, an investment scam that promises unsustainably high return on investment by paying previous investors with the money invested by new investors. Most of these scams work from anonymous offshore bases which make them hard to track down.

Even if you take out the possibility of them running away (which you shouldn't) sooner or later the income from new investors will dry up and the previous ones will not be able to earn anything and hence it will collapse.

So to earn anything you're at mercy of A. HYIP/Ponzi owners not running away and B. New Investors deposits. In gambling you're only dependent on your luck, you bet, you win - you get your profit, you lose - you get nothing.

Yes but how many HYIP schemes do you know that are legit and actually pay out? Only legit one was by the Ponzi guy and everybody who invested early with him, not the people that invested late.

as for my experience, all hyips i've been to was all paying but it doesn't mean they are legit. just like what you've said, early investors and of course, the ponzi owner, will be always the winner. being an early bird is a good strategy if someone wants to make profit with ponzi schemes.

Early investor? You said this as if early investor will always get the profit. I dont think that thing is true. From what I saw some HYIP only small amount of early investor that they get a payout. There is no payout for them that put 1 btc on that so all HYIP will be the same, you guys will be scammed no matter early investment or not

Please stop encouraging people that early 'investor' will always get profit because it kinda seems like some people will win while some dont. If you actually think stealing people's money away is a good attitude than you are free to do this, those who get money from ponzi is no better than a thief

Well the sooner you get inside of something the better you are off if it is a success, and Bitcoin is a clear example of this. the difference is the ethical reasons behind the project, but other than that, the fact that getting involved in something before others deliver better reward is a basic law that is present in every business ever, legit or not.

IMO HYIPs are far worst and riskier than gambling. With gambling you can leave when you want... with most HYIPs you can't leave...

HYIP or a High-yield Investment Program requires the user to send Bitcoin to a websites Bitcoin address where they have no control over there funds and are then 'guaranteed' usually a return of something very unrealistic ie. 100% in a week. And the site will probably run away with the funds in the end. (Ponzi)

Gambling on the other hand is where you deposit your funds and you have controover your funds. And a lot of gambling sites have - I can't remember the name - I think what is called 'hot wallets' that publicly display the websites balance which is in the region of BTC100+

Yes but how many HYIP schemes do you know that are legit and actually pay out? Only legit one was by the Ponzi guy and everybody who invested early with him, not the people that invested late.

There is no such thing as legit HYIP schemes because you cant obtain high profits without doing some bad practices.

Yes, hyip is also gambling

Really? You mean nothing is as legit as HYIP , seriously you have a problem if so mate.
I think HYIP is the most non-legit thing I have ever seen, fake promises, fake transactions and everything as fake as possible, even whole team fake !

We're all on the same boat Wink hope this clears up the confusion.

Now a days even if you invest on first day also in these hyip sits, not sure whether you can get back your investment because these sites are close after couple of days so how to get back your investment?

Don't fall on these scam schemes, just hold you coins for price appreciate is better than putting money in these sites.

Thats why most people never use their own money when they play hyip. They always use their free money there to make it double or triple in a couple of days. If it is scammed they have nothing to lose because it is free money

Bitcoin is not a hyip for sure and not some pump and dump scheme to make you into another rich guy in one night. No one ever thought that bitcoin could be $1200 a piece and ponzi for sure is not the same thing with bitcoin. You are a thief no matter what when you participante in a ponzi but buying bitcoin is more like gambling
