Hi ya'll... It's been a long time since I was told about the Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies (guess it'sbeen a year and a half). I've tried faucets, gaming sites and even tried signature campaign as methods to warn Bitcoins. So far, haven't even made half of a single bitcoin. That's where I need your help guys. I know the prices tend to change on a daily basis. I wanted to know if there are sites where I can convert Bitcoins into altcoins and vice versa regularly and swiftly so as to earn profits on these fluctuations. Also what does trading would specifically consist of. Where can I look more into it and find info relevant to it. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance, fellow bitcoiners.  |

My gawd, like you must have poured blood, sweat and tears into it, or else, devoted! With 0.50 btc, you can nearly invest in a miner, for crying out
loud! Just go to the marketplace and see if you can source a miner for the 0.50 btc. if you can get a good one, more power to you. Just look out for
scamers and avoid them. Look in scam accusations to see if anyone matches who you are thinking of buying the miner from and see if they are in
there. If they are, DROP THEM LIKE AN EXTREMELY HOT POTATO! Also, insist on escrow EVERY TIME!

@jmintuck02 Op said that he didn't even make half of bitcoin... not that he already earned it.
As for mining, it used to be good investment - no it is only a hobby - unless you have cheap electricity, I mean it - almost free, or ton of money for ASICS. Other than that leave it to Chinese miners.
As for bitcoin/altcoin trading you are not inventing a wheel here. The thing you are trying to do is called arbitrage trading and is very popular form of cryptocurrency speculation (actually speculation is something slightly else but...it is similar enough).

There are several good altcoin exchanges out there.
Avoid Cryptsy for the moment, they are having massive problems with withdrawels and are probably on the verge of collapsing.
some good alternatives include Poloniex, bittrex or bter.
They work fast and have quite good reputations. Good luck with your efforts and earning bitcoins!

Thanks for the warning jmintuck02 but I am not keen on mining as the combined cost of electricity and hardware required would surpass any chances of profit. I just wanted to know if there are sites that allow fast and convenient ways to convert Bitcoins into other cryptocurrencies such as litecoin or dogecoin, so I could earn something from price fluctuations. BTW thanks for replying. Really appreciate your Help. |

Checked out both "poloniex" and "bittrex", they both look good and simple enough to do trading on though a little difference on their trading fee. (Poloniex charges 0.2% while bittrex charges 0.25%) As you were kind enough to warn me to steer away from cryptsy, I would gladly do so as I searched and found out that Cryptsy isn't paying its customers and has most likely become insolvent. The most helpful reply so far. Thank you Sir. Now I just need to keep tabs on the market prices to see of I can earn some extra money through trading. |

I don't have that kinda cash laying around. Thought I'd try a little in trading, I don't wanna do any signature campaigs as they have a minimum post count and I don't think I am that much knowledgeable to write that many contributing replies. Currently am just trying faucets to earn bits but I don't think that I am gonna earn a lot that way. |

in my knowledge doing trading in cryptocoins in exchange is very risky as so many exchanges have closed down with out any warning and who ever was holding alt coins are just holding cannot sell now. It is better to trade in bitcoins . much safer or you can just buy and keep in wallet and when you fell its good price to sell sell it. like this you will be in safe side.
I use to do trading by this type.

There are lots of sites in which you can sell BTC for altcoins and back: Cryptopia, polloniex, bittrex, bleutrade... you can even throw POS coins in the mix. For example, I buy a coin named NETcoin (in cryptopia) which stakes at a % everyday. It stakes new coins everyday just for having them in the local wallet. Then, when the coin has a good price, I sell some and buy again when its lower and so on. Find your own strategy, but there are lots of possible combinations. |

If you want anything of significant value, you are going to have to work for it. The most prolific signature campaign members here only make about $2 worth of bitcoins per hour of work. Just get a regular minimum wage job and you will 4 to 5 times more than them in the same amount of time. |

I know that I cannot earn any amount without doing some kind of work but I was hoping to earn at least 0.00x or so Bitcoins using trading. I don't wanna take part in signature campaigns as the minimum amount of posts required to get paid might interfere with the post's quality (+I was already a part of signature campaign but couldn't follow the guidelines of posting replies in different sections and also I know that some of my posts aren't that good in quality too). Though now I am gonna consider taking part in some signature campaign. It's just that most of those require you to post in creating sections. That can be difficult if you're not capable of posting that minimum number in the respective section without affecting your post's quality. |
