robmob - accept my bid and then requerst 4x amount

This is not exactly a scam, but just want to notify anyone else out there who is dealing with robmobp

He ran an Auction - Selling established BTC domain , twitter and facebook account

As you can read there is not reserve price, nothing mentioned about cancellation and so on.

He accepted my bid:

Thanks for the bid. A offer is a off and I will accept you offer so the current bit is .2 BTC Thanks and have a good night

Then my bid left the only one and wrote 3! times in his thread without response. Then finally ask him on PM what happens and he said he will not sell it for less than 0.8BTC or 4x my bid amount. And my bid was accepted only to attract attention. When I told him this sounds like an extortion, he just said to me Have a nice day.

So just keep in mind with what person you are dealing with. You could always ended with some extortion for more.

I thought I had messaged you and was the guy I was negotiating with.  It is what it is now but it was not done intentionally.  I though you were making shit up to give me a bad name so I was pissed I was like WTF we were negotiating about it now im a scammer?

He wasn't claiming you were a scammer. debuni was warning people that are planning on trading with you about your previous trading behaviors, I think that's totally fair for potential future traders.

Well, that's how scam accusations work around here, where have you been?  You get to tell your side of the story after an accusation's been made.  How else do you think it's going to happen.  But you're crying that you're the victim here like most scammers do and your excuse sounds flimsy.

Anyway I wished him a good luck and explaining I'm not accusing him to be a scammer, just giving a fair warning to people about his trader. Because even crying here, cursing me on PM and so on, he will not honor his word on the auction.

I think what robmob is trying to say is 0.8BTC is the reserve price for the item. This works in ebay but I think in this forum this practice is frowned upon by members specially if it's not mentioned in the OP that there is a reserved price.

For example few days ago I bought on auction here a TH8 Clash of Clans account for only 0.01BTC as the only bidder. But the guy honor it because hi never mentioned a reserve price.

Anyway in my eyes case is closed after his ugly words in PM. I did what I think is right - a fair warning to other people.

If he wants to say something, otherwise I will close the thread in 24 hours.

I was dealing with 4 people about the domain. One guy his name started with  D ans is similar to your he offered .2 as well to start through PM and I told him I would not be selling for less then .8  we negotiated up to .5 BTC then I get messages saying I am not going about my word.

I always keep my word check my history I can link to you other forums I have been registered to for 7+ years thousands of posts an no scam reports. AS I told this CLOWN who was to quick running to get breast fed it was a innocent mistake where I thought he was the guy I was dealing with. But I do not care let debuni's butt hurt and we can all go back to our lives.

To see you are telling me about you are not going to sell it for less than 0.8BTC 5 days after auction ended and after I wrote 3 times in your auction thread without any result? And calling me fucking idiot, asshole, and threaten me to pay somebody to put me a negative trust?
