Hi,
I'm looking to buy a brass Casascius half.
It can either be graded or ungraded.
However, if it's graded it should be an MS-67 and above.
In fairness, I'm not willing to pay above 1.2 BTC so if you're looking for a lot for something above MS-67 then I'm not your guy.
Let me know what you have and we can work on a price...

Shipping to UK is a must (as is Escrow should I feel the need).

Shame that it's not an MS-67.
Guess I'll watch the auction anyway. Thanks for the heads up.

Ah, just noticed you want 67 or above...my bad. For raw coins that have graded 67 try Nubbins.

I can sort you out AT101ET. I have 2 67's to choose from.

I will send you a PM later. Just nipping out now

Need to check if they are ANACS imaged, if not I will get you some pics done, as well as give you cert numbers, and public addresses

Escrow never a problem, so long as its one of the usual suspects

That's a beautiful coin--can you tell why it "only" graded MS66?  I'm really surprised when a coin that doesn't circulate doesn't grade at least 68.  I think maybe the Casascius coins were handled too much prior to being distributed or something.  I don't think it detracts a whole lot, but it seems strange to me.  Most commemorative coins, as you may know, are minted and packaged shortly thereafter and so the vast majority never get even a low mint state grade.

Hope your coin sells at a good price.

Brass is a very soft and a cheap metal to make coins from. If you look at a brand new roll of them each coin has some imperfections. It is amazing how different each one can look and they were pretty cheaply made.
The silver series all seem to be a lot higher quality overall.
