Hello everybody! Im brand new to the forum and Bitcoins in general. I recently made a Blockchain account and want to buy a couple of my first Bitcoins. Can anybody help me out by selling me two bitcoins by ways of me paying through paypal? I have yet to find a legit site so I figured a fellow forum member might be able to sell a few to a noobie. Thanks!

Most people are reluctant to accept PayPal for Bitcoins, as the PayPal transaction can be easily reversed & Bitcoins can't.
Fraudsters also seem to use phished PayPal accounts to buy BTC alot.

You'd be better off looking at something like localbitcoins.com and exchanging cash in person.
Depending on what country you are in, you could also consider something like BitInstant

So... It seems direct trading with paypal is a no-no. Then, what should I do to sell a couple of bitcoins and then move the money into paypal? Is there any safe way? (I want to buy riot points lol)

Thanks! Brand new scammer, I see ... Really? That's how veteran users here first assumption is? I mean I'm new to this forum after starting the rope on trading invites and this looked to be a nice friendly site to start and before this I've only done minor transactions and Paypal was deemed suitable and apt for me. I know about Paypal has the refund policy thing that could be abused thus I was looking around threads regarding Paypal in this Newbie section only to chance upon posts like this that people who uses paypals are "Scammers"

it might explain why his ignore link is highlighted orange LOL i agree that paypal > bitcoin is full of scams. but look at all the bitcoin scams in general......should we not use bitcoin either? how about label all bitcoin users scammers but assuming that every user of paypal is a scammer? how will bitcoin ever pick up that user base (hundreds of millions?)

Oh, going the other way ... bitcoin to PayPal is easy, as long as you can trust the party you are selling to. There are many individual traders on #bitcoin-otc marketplace who have a trust history and are looking to pay for their bitcoin purchases with PayPal: - http://www.Bitcoin-otc.com - http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#bitcoin-otc-foyer - http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratings.phpThere are exchanges which offer this as well: - - http://FastCash4Bitcons.com - http://BTC-e.com - http://BitcoinNordic.com - http://VirWoX.com - http://BitInstant.com (Sell to USD on Mt. Gox, then exchange a Mt. Gox redeemable code (USD) for PayPal). And there are others as well, WM-Center, Lillioin transfer, ECurrencyZone, coin2pal.info.

I would also recommend trying to sell things for BTC as that helps the bitcoin economy even more. That's how I've gotten all my bitcoins so far. This website is like an eBay for bitcoins with very low seller fees (around 2%): http://bitmit.net/en/?ref=6669 This is a referral link btw

It is sad that nobody bothered to answer kooy's question.
Well, the question specified PayPal, so even your response doesn't provide a different answer than the others (which is a polite way of saying no, ... by not answering it directly.) There is one method. Buy Second Life Lindens (SLLs) with PayPal. Then trade those SLLs for BTCs. It may take a day for the BTC withdrawal to process but that is one mehthod. - http://www.VirWoX.com If you have a PayPal debit card, you can try BTCQuick. At certain times (like right now) they have bitcoins in-stock: - http://www.BTCQuick.com

Another, more difficult way, is to use bitcoin-otc, beg for small trades of a few dollars each, and hope enough people in the chat room take pity on you, or are willing to "buy" your good rating.

Hi I had wondered this as well, I have purchased my first Bitcoin through ebay transaction. I was waiting 4 days for my wallet to synch so the seller doesnt seem to have sent my Bitcoin yet, Ive messaged this morning to ask him to send it. I can let you know how that goes. I did pay £13 though and I think the going rate is closer to £11 but I wasn't sure how to get my first coin and wanted to stick with what I know (Paypal) lol
I was wondering what website you would recommend to me in the UK to buy Bitcoins? I dont have a credit card but do have a debit card or can pay using bank details
Thanks
