I'd like to sincerely apologize to MPOE-PR for my rudeness to her in the past. I've engaged in some trolling and it won't happen anymore. MPOE-PR, I appreciate the thought you put into your posts, and I have no business in needlessly detracting from them. You're not the propaganda account I originally perceived you to be.

Best wishes and happy holidays to all,
Bob

If you'd read AND UNDERSTOOD what she writes instead of going "oh the porn girl who hates bitcoin writes again", you'd come to the same conclusion.

But that would require introspection and that's a good the forums are severely lacking.

I think she puts lots of thought into her trolling, I do not dispute that. I simply look at her username, PR, she represents a company in all she does. So propaganda is all she would be spouting unless she gets a puppet account and develops a new account that is not cheering on her exchange.

From what I have read of her, she does lack... "tact"... even if most of what she says is true. Maybe she is a big fan, and is angry at the thing she is a fan of for being so needlessly stupid?

She's one of my favourite posters.  Her lack of tact is one of her best qualities - because she's not out to win a popularity contest, she says things this community sorely needs to hear and inevitably ruffles feathers and bruises egos in the process.  People dismiss it as trolling because they don't want to accept that she's speaking the truth, however unpleasant.  It's easy to attack the messenger when you don't like the message.

If you want even more insight into the philosophy of the organisation she represents, read Mircea Popescu's blog some time.  Just because he's arrogant doesn't mean he's not right about the strengths and weaknesses in the current Bitcoin ecosystem.  People need to get over wanting their truths sugar coated, because the truth is that once really big players enter the Bitcoin universe they aren't going to give a damn about people's egos and they're going totally devour those who can't play hard ball.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

So I'm back from my little vacation, boys and girls. How did everyone's Xmas+NewYear+FailedEndOfTheWorld go?

You missed sooooo much. We had this huge thing where everyone ... yeah... nothing much happened besides usagi melting down twenty or thirty times.

EDIT: And Roger Ver destroying all trust anyone had in him over 50 bucks. But that might have been before you left.

Sure did! Look what Santa put in my stockings:

This little piggy went to the market,... (so hard to concentrate when
the other nine little piggies are screaming, "Save it for me!")

Feet are so weird.

I knew they were backwards. Seriously, I did! There's no way I would have missed such a fact. Meow, on the other hand may not have noticed.

Full Disclosure: I didn't notice. But it's too late to take back all I've envisioned doing to them sexy digits.

Here is a thread from MPOE-PR that caught my eye (should be sticky) and ever since I've been a big fan.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=106391.0

that is a great post, however i prefer her "so you want to start a bitcoin business?" post. (link, anyone?)

count me as a fan.
