Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Best 100$ investment I'd say. Sure you could make more long term, but id rather make more short term, replace, sell and upgrade Smiley

Picked up two 5850s somewhere else for $150 shipped each Smiley

My first 5850 I bought in October 2010, way before the whole mining hype begun. It was $280 back then, sigh. But then again it was the third fastest ATI card on the market.
