Building a trading platform needs a lot of efforts, is time consuming. It requires the collaberation of many technical coders, system planers, security experts etc. How could it be free. Even you can get one, users would't go there.

There are a couple of open-source exchange platforms you could possibly modify to suit your needs:

https://github.com/peatio/peatio

and

https://github.com/txbits/txbits

come to mind. I haven't really tried either but have only heard of the projects in passing. txbits is written in node.js it appears so I would wager it is the friendliest of the two.

No problem! I hope that was reasonably close to what you are looking for. The latter github link looks friendliest if you are just starting out, you could easily spin up a test server with a few crapcoin daemons to try it out.

If this is more than a learning experience then don't forget not to skimp on server security, having any kind of cryptocurrency on a server will make you a target by people who would like nothing better than to relieve you of your coins.
