Just tossing it out there if anyone is Mining in Minnesota......myself Mankato....others?

Figured it would be funny if somebody was also ASIC mining crypto coin of some kind nearby Smiley

(most folk in the world are now lurching for Google and are like where the hell is Minnesota?) Smiley

Whatever .....I"ll see if I get any replies on here. (Doubtful very doubtful)

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

My mighty SP20, getting less mighty each day, continues to plug away. Along with my three ultra-silent Compac sticks.

This is in a Southeast suburb of the Twin Cities as well.

I have lusted after an S7 or Avalon6, but haven't yet succumbed to the siren song of "more hash is better". I'd just love a 500W, 2TH, quiet miner, along with a million other folks.

yeah I would not...you guys see this thread i put up on how i got cheaper electric thru xcel energy ..may work for others in minnesota..just read the blurb...kinda fell into it
and with this warm winter I did not even have to 'lie' on the details Smiley

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1296558.0

should be pretty obvious from above you can PM me for details..just trying to pass it around

but a drop of 13.7c kwh (includes all my fees etc) to 0.0927c kwh with 2 Titans was a big electric savings...at least for 4 or 5 months as long as it holds in the winter

that on top of my 45 buck a month savings YEARLY on GAS heat..heh.....that also works

but anyway with the halving and hopefully they are correct and we will see 650 usd btc yet this year (that is 5.20 ltc) ...well I could mine thru NEXT winter also

and with heat benefit etc still pull of home mining (would be like the last of Mohican's if I could 'home mine' into 2017 over electric yet etc) Smiley

anyway check the link above out see the story ..i'd guess most upper midwest electric utils in the winter would have such programs

hope it helps Smiley

Funny you say this cause I just saw this thread created right above this one when I was looking at the threads just updated.

If the electricity is cheaper than the Hvac bill to heat the home Huh
then why not. Wink
