You can check out these sites BTC List and BTC Rotator  and decide for yourself if it's worth it. The list is updated at least weekly so most of the faucets should work and the rotator run through should be pretty smooth.

The amount of time you should put in to achieve these low rewards is very ineffective. You would be better off just providing your skills directly for bitcoins.

It's not worth it, at all. Even with a HUGE amount of ads on the faucet, you'll probably still earn nothing. It's just a waste of time.

Thats a pitty, i was half planning on looking into creating a faucet in the hope that there was some way to make money from running them with ads but after reading the comments im actually not sure why anyone bothers running one at all other than just to promote bitcoin to new poeple.

While the price of BTC is low with good rotator you could earn some money, but today faucets pay low reward and low referral comission.Maybe if you have lot of referrals you can make something. But if you play with free.bitco there is a possibility that each week won nice reward, first prize last week was 3 BTC Smiley

I guess it is relative as a faucet user if you "profit" or not. If you are already on the computer, and do not value your time....any amount greater than 0 is profiting. You will not get rich by a long shot....but thats not what faucets are for anyways.

If you are a faucet operator and have an adsense account, you can profit, but still not much(by American standards). One of the problems with running a faucet is most of your traffic will come from countries that adsense does not really care about, 20 unique clicks from Indonesia can net as little as $0.20 total(0.01/click). Another issue you run into is fraudulent adsense activity. A lot of users will think they are doing you a favor by clicking on ads repeatedly, but this just shows as invalid activity in your adsense account.....and if too much of it happens they will shut down your account and ban you for the future.

The OP is referring to collecting from faucets, not running one.

There are some great faucets out there now and a couple of great phone apps by the devs at Xapo.  I tried a test and was diligent about claiming from 2 apps and a couple desktop faucets and made 1.07 for the day.  I dont have the time to do that everyday but if someone is in a third world country that is a lot of money.  They could feasibly make 20-30 a month and then adding a signature campaign they could gradually collect some bitcoin.

OP do a little research and find the best faucets and it may be worth it to you.

1.07 what?

Faucets are a shocking waste of life but it's easy to forget about coutnries with lower costs of living. Faucets are still shit but sig campaigns may well add up to a respectable income for some.

totally true... 1.07  It is not something I could sustain but I suppose with referrals it could be less tiresome.  Given that most of the third world is accessing the internet through phones they could definitely do the apps.  The Wheel of Bitcoin app by xapo is great.  You can get a bonus round up to 5 times a day with a max win of 32,000 satoshis.  I calculated that a person could feasibly do 150,000/day satoshis just from that one app.

Also, if a person truly believes that Bitcoin is going to rise in value then it is more about how many satoshis you are grabbing rather than current price.

Call me crazy  Huh

Is it profitable enough to put your time into it? From what I see you get maybe a couple cents, then you have to wait to withdraw until you have so many. I'm just wondering how much people make off of these.
I never used faucets cause it's waste of time, i can make much more bitcoins doing some other things than wasting time on faucets.

You can't get too much from faucets. This is very clear. But from other hand ... these Satoshi is for free, right just one click and type something. Why not try if there is nothing to do.

If you click 8 hours epay.info/browse (not my ref link as is not allowed) you can make 0.005 BTC daily without any problems. I have made about 0.044 BTC in total without referrals, I don't click a lot, only on Weekends when I have free time. I suggest this faucet rotator to anyone willing to make 0.01 BTC in a week if they keep doing their job. Its better then most mining websites right now. Grin

Extrapolating the math, in 100 weeks (2 years) you'll have 1 bitcoin.

you manually trying to raid faucets is not profitable. it works out as way way below $2 an hour. but faucet owners love it because they dont have to manually click anything. they just let 1000 unsuspecting noobs do the clicking and the faucet owner takes a cut.

imagine, instead of having to click something 1000 times. you get 500 people to click twice... knowing some people give up after the second try as they see your only giving them x divided by 2 (1 for u 1 for them)..

but as an extra bonus above expectations some crazy faucet raiders keep trying.. even if the limit to withdraw is 1,000 times higher than each click payout, they keep trying. and its these few people that end up earning you just as much or if not more than the 500 people clicking twice.

you still end up only getting a few dollars an hour.. just without the hardwork of you personally doing the clicking. because others are doing it for you.

its like going from working in a sweat shop for pennies an hour without break. to running your own sweatshop and taking a penny off of each slave working under you while you sit back and let others slowly get arthritis from clicking

That figure should be a sticky or something. If you devoted those eight hours a day for two years to spreading your flaps on cam, which would be better for your RSI and more sociable, you'd have several hundred coins.

You might make a few cents a day from constantly clicking faucets for 12 hours each day, but most of them have a minimum withdrawal amount that would take a week earn. Mot faucets pay far less than the average transaction fee and use that as an excuse to set a high minimum withdrawal. The operators know most people will give up before they earn enough to make a withdrawal because it takes 70+ hours of constant work to earn that much.

Whenever I have done faucets I have found for the amount of time you do it for you don't get that much unless you are lucky and hit jackpots. However some of something is better than nothing.

If have a lot of sponsorred users or referals then probably you can make some money from it, that is if you have lot, i've seen fahcet users here posting their earnings from faucets because theh have referals. But own clicks alone wighout referals is not worth your time.

Judging by the ever growing number of bitcoin faucets, a lot of people are still opening such sites. It is still profitable to run these type of site, so they will continue to pop up.
