That`s how i was introduced to bitcoin and that`s how many will be in 2016. I hope to see new joiners prove me right under this topic.

Fair point, it is good for people new to pick up a small amount of satoshi to get used to wallet transactions and what bitcoin is before they go all in and purchase some. 
I know some people hate them and think it's a waste of time, but for some people just coming into bitcoin faucets are invaluable.
