Yes, bitcoin has many advantages and it is getting used for illegal purposes must be avoided. All the currencies and payment processors has vulnerability of getting misused. But, bitcoin payments are only traceable unlike any other currencies.

Bitcoin transactions can be hided as well, which needs some techniques. Using VPN or Tor can hide the senders'a IP and location. Just like WU, they are using fake identity to send the money.

Terrorist use more fiat then bitcoin,because bitcoin has flutuation and well they cant loose money on the operation,but i believe that todays is hard to loose bitcoin as it looks stable at 440 dollars... but well they would need to show id to buy a large ammount of bitcoins at exchanges that are regulated,soo some use fiat others use crypto,but i doubt the most dark business knows bitcoin.

Of course, terrorists are going to use whatever they can find to do their evil acts, but we are talking about volume here, and to present Bitcoin as some sort of massive threat when it represents a microscopic amount of money being used to perpetuate those acts, it's laughable at best. FIAT will always be the most used weapon by terrorists, not BTC.

It is never a fixed thing. Since the terrorist are just the people who live within us, they can be able to use any type of currency they want and that which is convenient to them. It is however not good to always taint the bitcoin.

Bitcoin was once used by criminals, specifically on the dark web. Can't blame people for making the same assumption for terrorist. Most terrorist get their money from smuggling oil or trafficking women, so I'm not surprised to hear Western Union would be used to fund terrorist organizations. It's probably way more used.

I think most of the bitcoin exchanges now require KYC data and you have to provide personal info and the origin of your bitcoins to be able to withdraw in cash.

Another interesting news. Finally we have the definitive fact that all the criminals of the world don't use bitcoin but use Western Union to make them criminal actions. The above news and the above post testify indisputably that bitcoin finally must be called totally clean and no one can tell (after the above facts) that is used in Dark Web or in everything who has to do with the criminals. I don't think that terrorists are using western union. Mostly western union is used for hawala money transactions.
