Terrorists use Western Union, not Bitcoin

Terrorists use whatever they can.  Bitcoin is new, how have they been operating for decades?  Also, we should ban email too because of that Nigerian that sends me emails to transfer money for him, I think my grandma got the same email.  Ban email!

Terrorists you mean to say politicians of the country? oh man they are already into bitcoins..they have invested all their black money into bitcoins as they also want to take advantage of decentralized currency but they don't what that their community and society should take advantage of it...lolz..

That is wide speculation. I think most politicians are not into bitcoin. They are rich people, even if 1% of their wealth is in bitcoin, the price will be very high.

You are right we have very few politicians which are using bitcoins and its very small amount because if they are using big then we have rate too much high not like this

I would imagine a lot of us gamblers that used to send to sportsbooks through western union are on terrorist suspect lists.
All the third world countries I sent to repeatedly would raise serious eyebrows post 9/11!

Terrorists would use Bitcoin more than Western union as I do believe you need to show ID to receive and send money through Western Union I believe. I'm not completely sure.


Bitcoin can be used for terroristic acts along with money laundering as well but it doesn't matter. Bitcoin is money. There are tons of people that occupy the US dollar for money laundering, but have you ever seen anyone shaming the dollar?

There is a box at the bottom right before you sign the papers that asks "Terrorist?"! I usually let the teller fill it in,thats my work around having to deal with it.

No one have any insight information about this Terrorists can use many methods its all depend on Country where they want to send in many countries its working with Hawala which is just like Western Union no one can give any correct information about this its all just rumors they are using bitcoin its just four or five years old and terrorists network working for years

Wouldn't they need to show ID when trying to convert the bitcoins to cash through the exchanges? Or services like Localbitcoins are preferred with no paper trail left behind.

I believe terrorist use more fiat then bitcoin,because bitcoin has flutuation and well they cant loose money on the operation,but i believe that todays is hard to loose bitcoin as it looks stable at 440 dollars... but well they would need to show id to buy a large ammount of bitcoins at exchanges that are regulated,soo some use fiat others use crypto,but i doubt the most dark business knows bitcoin...

If somebody donates $1000 worth of bitcoin to the terrorist, and when he received the bitcoin, it is worth only $500. Will the terrorist execute the donator?

You know people who work for government is now a days helping terrorists to transact money. Western Union is has the major role that's it. Other than western union there are various banks to support hawala transfer.

That is not true at all. Terrorists use whatever currency they want. There is nothing we can do to stop them. Bitcoin is used just as much as Western Union.

bitcoin is anonymous but does not mean all bitcoins users is very bad and for those people who blamed and hated bitcoin users must be read this thread because this is one of the proofs that bitcoins users is not guilty here
