Hi, The x8s pool ( http://btc.x8s.de) now exists for a couple of weeks and we've reached a nice hashrate during this time. Although we're still a small pool, I think we don't have to hide Short Info: - multiple servers for better stability
- Worker monitoring (email alerts)
- Hashrate graphs
- Proportional Share with 1% Fee
- Longpoll
- Twitter updates for "Block found" and "Payment ready"
- SSL
- API (json)
- Achievement System is in early alpha stage
- Userbar
- IRC Channel
- 8 decimals for payout

Hi, I'm currently working on a new pool. The basic things are done, but there's still some work to do. But anyways, since I don't want to develop stuff in the wrong direction (because I'm looking at the pool through my red sunglasses of developer love...) I've decided to make a little announcment and hopefully gather some feedback what's missing, what could be improved or even what you like... So, if you have some spare time: have a look at http://x8s.de , maybe sign up, maybe do some mining... and then, please tell me what you think Thanks did you buy a script, is this with opensource software, or did you code it yourself?

This pool works great, no idles and very few stale/invalid shares compared to the other bigger pools. It just needs some more hashing-power

I totally agree - works very stable with only few stale/invalid shares. Raising hashing speed would be nice - feel free to join some workers that we find your first block soon. Very nice frontend and stats.

nice and simple low fee is very interesting. are you also keep the blocks' fees? i am expecting a pool (with a low fee) that will share the whole block (plus fees i mean) moreover i don't think that workers' password is useful at all. any anti-dDos measures? also don't forget to add email confirmation in order to confirm a Bitcoin Address changing

Little update: The Block showed up a couple of hours later, everyone should have gotten his share (Because of the hickup with that block, it was a 0% Fee Round..) So: GZ TO OUR FIRST BLOCK

A little update: We found 10 blocks in the meantime Last weekend i've moved to a bigger server, and we're running now with ~60GHash. Also Kiv was so nice to include us in the GUIMiner dem0noid: i'll release an update so that timeago is only enabled if you have selected german in a couple of minutes
