If that were in a country. I think everyone there is going to buy a house. But I do not think it can now.
Because some people do not even know what Bitcoins is.

even in 100 years you can't buy a house with 1 btc Wink it is impossible even if bitcoin price are growing the houses price grow with it

Not really, house prices are much more tied to the traditional financial markets than to bitcoin. If bitcoin grows, you can buy more house with your bitcoin. If your fiat grows, your house price grows with it.

It is not likely that you will be able to buy a house with 1 btc in a developped country any time soon. In cheaper countries it might be realistic in 10 years. Best to stock up say 10 bitcoin so you can buy a house in 10 years in any country.

Yeah it's all a question of what you call a house and where you want it!

Currently some houses are free, just because the owners want to get rid of them. But gotta look at the house xD

It is still possible, but maybe not in our lifetime but still, we don't know if bitcoin is still alive that time..  Smiley

You can do that, but that will; not happen that fast I think. I hope later that Bitcoin will have a higher value later.
It is hard to predict what is going to happen later in the future with the value because it is a currency.

Why? I disagree. The price of Bitcoin is in no way connected to the price of real estate property.

Back to the topic: Right now it is possible to buy 3 bedroom village house in Bulgaria for £11,315

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/overseas-property/property-48024988.html

and I'm sure there are many proposals with even lower prices around the world. So I think in 10-15 years from now it will be possible to buy a house for 1 Bitcoin.

Why would you trade your house for a bitcoin? That is not a very smart idea, your house is one of the most important things. But if the price of a bitcoin will be worth more then a house I could understand it but will it happen?

Mostly, here in asia, houses are cheaper, in 1 BTC that would be really for like a half month stay in a for rent town house without considering the deposit and advance..  Smiley

Are you sure ? I live here in asia and there is no house priced 1 bitcoin, even on small village. In my country house and property price always increase every year. so it's impossible to buy a house with 1 bitcoin.

I would be happy to be able to rent a nice place for 1 Bitcoin per month. However I don't think Bitcoin's price will rise so much so that I could purchase a real estate property with just one coin. But If I could pay my rent with 1 Bitcoin per month wherever I decide to rent a house and keep the rest of my salary intact for personal use that would be great.

lol, most people think that $400 will buy a complete house.. are a bit delusional.

Not even a third world country you can do this like you mentioned. Maybe $10,000 can though depending the country side of somewhere or smaller apt of a major city side.

At least 20 years or so. Reaching that high is not possible in a short span like 3 years!!
With such volatile nature and less users even if it will achieve that height in 20 years that would be a great achievement.

in our country, we can't even buy a small house using 1btc. But we can rent a house for 2 to 3 months. May be in future, after 10 or 20 years the value of bitcoin increases to some high extent means we can buy a house.

Surely more than one year. Where I live, cheap housing is about 600,000k if you're super lucky. Normal housing is like, 1.2 million.

I'd say 10 years if you're lucky, but IMHO bitcoin will never be that strong. Sorry.

It has been done somewhere before but not for one bitcoin. It was for several at that time when it was $1200 a coin. It was in North America some where I think. But it was a successful transaction with out any problems with the purchase. So it can be done, just not for one bitcoin at this time.

yes it took very long time because 1 bitcoin capital for buying a house OP must be very patient to do so and also there is no guarantee on trading you will always be profit and could be OP capital will runs out before buying a home

It will indeed only possible after some 15 years or something, if you want to make that possible you must be sure that the value of Bitcoin must rise so the chance is higher.
Otherwise you need more Bitcoins and that is indeed hard work and it can take a long time.
