Trade house for 1 bitcoin

If a bitcoin is enough to buy a house, a more pertinent question is would you let it go for an asset that's less likely to appreciate?

I'd rathet get rid of my fiat. As for answering the actual question I'm going for between 3 and 4 decades in my part of the world.

I would never trade my house for just 1 Bitcoin that is just really stupid to do because you are never going to make as much money with one Bitcoin.

In.some very poor partw of the world sellingw house for a single Bitcoin is like gettingw a fortune. But in some average circumstances Bitcoin should be worth like 20 or 30 000 $ to considerw to sell a house. I don't thinkw thatw it will ever reachw that value.

It would depend on how much is the cost of your house.  How big is it and where is it located is a factor.  Then if it is fully furnished.  One bitcoin is not enough to trade your house.  Maybe 30 to 50 bitcoins would be enough.  Just hope that the price of bitcoin will continue to go up  and it will continue until you exist.  And the thing is are you brave enough to lose your house for the bitcoins.

I think, we would be able to use bitcoins to pay for AirBnb in near future (which is close to house deal).

House in remote areas too costs high in my country. To buy a house for one bitcoin in town areas, bitcoin has to grow much and this takes long years.

It could be if the value of 1 bitcoin is equals to a 500,00 dollars or more.  It could happen for like 10 to 20 years from now if bitcoin is still around and would become strong in the market.  If many people will be popular with this thing then there would be large demand.  I am sure that by then, price of bitcoin will go high and could give you a house.

We are waiting and hoping for that, but as of now the value of 1 bitcoin is not yet too high to trade in to house, just keep praying that bitcoin would go more popular and it would be a great currency in the future i think our prediction will come true.

As i read you question, i just easily said to myself maybe it would happen  for me in 30 years i guess.  It really depends on what house you are preferring to,  there are lots to choose from and  budget bracket of a certain house you wish to have. In my country you could  own a house   for estimately   40BTC as of the current price of bitcoin.

OP is looking for a house not today but in the future, by the price right now of around $590+ it's impossible, and it could only be a hut... But if you think about the future, and the price increase that could happen, who knows, price might be more than triple than today in 10 years, by that, I think your 1 bitcoin would be equivalent to one house..

So I suggest that you people do not do this, It just is not smart to do.

I'm not sure it will be possible soon, cause people owning very huge amount of bitcoins, very hard to build a lot houses, and price should be around $500K.

I heard about a guy who sold his house for bitcoin. He got quite alot of them because this happened 3 years ago when the price was not as high as it is now. But now he is happy about the amount that he got from that property sale for BTC.

Probably more like 15 to 20 years before bitcoin is worth that much. Of course it depends on the value of the house. I think the growth will be more gradual.

Yes it will never happen maybe he hopes a huge advantage by holding 1 bitcoin and have a dream if bitcoin will have the same value to the home.

Though I have high hopes for bitcoin also but buying a house for one bitcoin only I think is nearly impossible. We know that bitcoin's price of being valued highly in the future is very possible but I think it will never reach to the point where one bitcoin will be worth $100k. Maybe you can save 10 or 20 bitcoin perhaps for a house then you can buy one if you can already afford it for the amount of bitcoin you saved.
