I placed a bet for over 2.75 , and the total goals after the match was 3 .(which i obviously greater than 2.75) and i see my bet settled with Half Win. Why?

That's because you pick 2.75 and the result is 3 it mean you lose some of your money your bet x.25

Your bet, Over 2.75, is basically a combo of an over 2.5 and an over 3. In this case, the 3 was a push, so your bet was settled as a Half Win.
That's why a X.75 will always have better odds than a X.5, due to the chance of them happening.
