The coinbase exchange has been down for many hours now, following the sudden price drop.  They can't handle fast market movements.  I suspect the coinbase people took the exchange down on purpose.

Coinbase exchange is down for me as well.

The regular Coinbase site comes up but I cannot get into my exchange account for about an hour.  Unacceptable!

It was down for hours, then it worked for a while, and now it's down.  I started a thread on the Coinbase community forum.  A Coinbase employee weighed in just so he could tell us exactly nothing.  No facts, not even the slightest hint of what's happening or why.

Edit:  I was just on the forum and tried to twist his arm to make him tell.  It's an "internal matter" LOL

I guess this is necessary due to recent attacks on other trading/exchange website, they were down for maintenance but they are back now.

Confirmed, it was ddos.

DDOS? DDOS is for small websites not for those who said that "invested" millions of USD in their platform. Smiley

It's a shame for these arrogants to have the website down because a kid ping them   Grin
