4.5 BTC is not small when some one gets scammed!
You do not have credibility on this forum that's why you are having so much troubles and you got conditions also that you are looking to deal bigger amounts only which is again not going to happen so easily looking at the value of your a/c and the amount of premium you are willing to pay.

Bitcoin fees may be low but when you are paying 5%+ to get bitcoin you might as well just use Visa/Mastercard or some other payment method.

So why not use it & buy? Why even thinking to buy from here?

To sign up for an exchange you need to hand over all your I.D and to be honest looking at the track history of exchanges I dont trust any of them.

MtGox
Cryptsy
+ many others have come and gone.
and you think you can transfer $1800+ using any of the payment processor without getting verified?

Seems bitcoin is dead as one of lead devs claimed.

If its this much agro to source 4.5 I cant be arsed with it and im sure most of world population would agree with me.

Think ill invest my fiat in precious metals instead.

it's not dead just because it's harder to obtain.

is gold available on every street corner to buy??

-snip-

If you want to deal with trusted members, it is you who have to approach them, not the other way around. They may not like the fees/rate though

Why buying at +5.5% Bitstamp rate when you can buy all you want via CREDIT or DEBIT card at coinmama.com
Minimum is 0.1 BTC. You just need to verify yourself, ID card is ok, I am verified there, still haven't tried as I buy BTC in small chunks, but for large purchases they are the best bet, even better then localbitcoins.com because they have lower fees considering you are buying from credit or debit card.

Scammer: sent me a pm stating he contacted Ognasty as escrow, with a quote of a fake reply of him, including a masked phishing link to a fake escrow thread resembling the real one (but with a different bitcoin address of course).

Here's the fake site he was pointing me too (he'll probably take it down soon anyway) ---> b1tc0intalk.byethost12.com/?ckattempt=1

(and real ognasty thread with real address:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303281 ).

and he was claiming how hard is it to get bitcoin.
Damn! It should be impossible for these scammers to even get hold of 0.000001 bitcoin.

I can not believe the extent to these people can drop for scamming some one. All will surely burn in hell and suffer the consequences of their doing in this life itself.

Yeah there was someone who got scammed, he was complaining in Ognasty's escrow thread
Even though he'll probably be back from another account, please tag him here too
