Do not trade with Ethan Marston

Was recently trying to sell some BitGold to this user and he insisted I send first.
This was for an over $450 CDN trade and he refused to use escrow, insisting I send smaller amounts to build trust.

His email is tritongamer@hotmail.co.uk - His real name is Ethan Marston.

I even went so far as to set up a localbitcoins.com trade seen here: https://localbitcoins.com/ad/304155/cash-out-your-bitcoins-gold-on-bitgoldcom

When I emailed the user I would not send first and sent him the link to the escrow he stopped replying to emails. Suspicious as shit if you ask me.

And then no reply.. This user is clearly trying to scam people so be cautious.

I don't see any evidence of a scam here.  What am I missing?  He ceased corresponding with you, but that could be for a number of reasons.  If he's a scammer he sure as hell didn't try very hard.

The fact he refused escrow.

Those are just the emails we sent. A fair amount of the supposed deal was done in PD chat.. Something along the lines of "I don't want to mess around with escrow" was told to me there.. I'm sorry, But on a $450 trade you're going to fucking use escrow or you're a scammer. (unless trading with friends)

So I'll take your warning with a big grain of salt, seeing as how you and he are the only ones privy to your chat log.  You might well be right, but I think more evidence is needed if you're going to make a thread and call him a scammer.

It's more of a warning of caution to anyone regarding his what I perceive as shady behavior.
I always suggest escrow to users if possible, or have the user go first if they refuse escrow.

I am aware given my prior history on these forums may cloud some forum users judgement in my word but I have done well over +100 trades.
All of which went smoothly and generally involved straight trades of cryptocurrencies or crypto for physical items. Both escrowed and on my honor.

This Ethan Marston is being shady in his tradings by refusing escrow in my opinion, thus I thought I would bring it to forum attention.
