I was try to clean last night my address book from the bitcoin wallet Version 0.7.2
and I remove all address from address book

In the morning I see my Receive address left only 2 from total of 5.
I know that it is not possible to delete  Receive address from your wallet .....
And now someone tell me ...Is this possible ?  Is there a bug on 0.7.2 version ?

I fix the problem by replacing the wallet.dat with an older wallet.dat version but
The question remains ..... Why did this happened ? Huh

Are you saying that the Balance in the Overview that your Bitcoin-Qt client shows had dropped after you used "Delete" to remove an address(es) from the Address Book?

That "Delete" button only hides those addresses from the address book, it doesn't delete the private key from your wallet.

So it should not have an effect on that balance.

If you are experiencing different behavior, then perhaps could you record the steps that you are finding that causes this to occur?  Of course, make sure you first have a reliable backup of your wallet prior to doing anything that you suspect could cause a loss of funds.

If you were reporting some other behavior, could you try to restate your problem?  I couldn't really follow what "Receive address left only 2 from total of 5." means.

"Receive address left only 2 from total of 5." means that I had 5 receive address before and after I lost 3 receive address and my wallet saws only 2 in the Tab "Receive coins". ( recieve address = 15cFV4TWjYTExxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx )

I only used "Delete" to remove an address(es) from the Address Book and I lost 3 address from "Received coins" tab .

I now have both wallets.dat in storage ( before and after the problem) in case someone expert wants to investigate the problem.

I think I found what happend ....
When you used "Delete" to remove an address(es) from the Address Book then
for some reason you don't see all your addresses in "Received coins" tab.
If you restart your wallet the problem goes away.
It must be a bug ...

Another similar bug happens sometimes when you rename a receive address. It can also randomly renames some other receive address so that you now have two addresses with the same label. The randomly renamed one will reset back to its original name after restarting.

Ya, that shouldn't happen.

Can anybody else replicate this behavior?
