i can't mine on my new 7870. when i try to it works for about a minute and then the graphics driver crashes and restores. i tried with GUIminer and diablominer and both have the same result. i run windows 7 home premium 64bit and a core i5 on an intel motherboard

the card is an msi card

why is this happening i didn't overclock it

EDIT: there is also a bit of artifacts. no artifacts. i will try it with games in the future (soon) (when i get a good screen)

What drivers are you running? 12.8 should be the best (to date). And if you're not overclocking, it might be a hardware issue.

Right click on your Desktop, and open up the AMD VIsion Engine Control Center. Go to Information -> Software -> Catalyst Version. Mine is 12.11, but I'm not GPU mining anymore.
