In fact, this project officially started on Jan 18th 2016, but actually some preproject work started even earlier, approx in mid 2015

it is right. After all, it is not necessary to stop the development of the project. this should be a constant activity. participants should feel, that the team is working. everyone should see the changes. maybe, they are not always positive, but it shows the movement. and this is important

And just to clarify @Elkmar, there was no Airdrop, ICO, Premine, Presale...anything of that sort. We had an initial Proof-of-Work phase followed by our spread-fee-protocol Proof-of-Stake, which is still active to this day.

Unlike most blockchains where the transaction fees are included in the single block that contains the transaction, #Radium spreads the fees over 1440 blocks so smaller wallets have a chance at receiving a share of the transaction fees.

I absolutely love the spread fees protocol.  It helps to level the playing field for smaller stakers which is great.
