Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

To be fair to the newbie he is right. If I was you I would start it at 0.1 which would allow people to bid against each other. @0.18 they can only make 6 bids before BIN. The added problem there is no signed message and it is a new senior = high price. The 0.18 starting bid is more than I'd like to BIN. |

The added problem there is no signed message and it is a new senior = high price. The 0.18 starting bid is more than I'd like to BIN. But it's a damn old account dating back to January 2012. Also, it is not a new senior member account, it was a sejior member since 2012 itself. Also the number of posts is high, so I guess the price justifies that. |
