I want an entropykey.  Their website only accepts google wallet, which I refuse to use.

So, I'm looking for someone trustworthy to buy me one (or maybe a 10 pack), to be shipped to a US address, in exchange for BTC.  Any takers?

Damn, that seems pretty expensive for what it is. I want one as well, but damn, not for that price.

It actually is pretty cheap compared to alternatives.  Remember this is a TRNG.  Other "cheap" ones run $300 to $500.  FIPS certified devices for enterprises tend to run $1K to $20K+.   If they had a .Net SDK for native access I would buy one (and gladly pay 3x as much).

We will help you out.
Send me a PM with mailing address, which product you want (1 vs 10) and the total including shipping.
I will send you a deposit address.  I will also drop the developer a note he should accept Bitcoin.  It fits it nicely with the community.

Lemme save you some money:

The developer used the correct term Entropy vs Random.  The method above is random but has low entropy.  BTW I love that comic though.

Hmm nice.  I didn't know that existed.
Our new servers are using Ivy Bridge Xeon processors. (Nope Sandy Bridge)

Got a tip address?  That one is worth a couple bitcents.

Yeah, that's the problem.  This is the cheapest one available, by far.  The second cheapest option is to buy a geiger tube and build your own.  And a tiny USB stick is way more datacenter-friendly.

If you haven't seen it there's also this:

http://warmcat.com/_wp/whirlygig-rng/

A home built project using a CPLD. Unfortunately the CPLD is pretty costly making the whole thing as much as buying the entropy key.

It seems to me there ought to be a way to use a $3 Ethernet capable PIC chip to collect some noise source and massage it into a random data stream. I have some of these PIC18F86J65 EtherPICs that I'd love to put to use as RNG if I knew more about entropy/noise sources and how to process one.

Not exactly inspiring confidence here dude.  Smiley

PM me with a BTC price for one unit drop-shipped or re-shipped to an address in the US and an address to send it to.

just asked Simtec if they are planning to support BTC, unfortunately they arent.

I'd say that was highly unlikely at the moment.
