No, it may just take a while for the transaction to confirm. Otherwise it will go back to your blockchain.info wallet in a few days. Can you give us the transaction id so that we can help you figure out what went wrong and whether it can be sped up?

I have being using blockchain wallets for long time and never had this problem as long as recommended fees are included (now is 0.0002BTC due to the network volume increase ) If you lower the fees manually, the transactions many be delayed to get confirmed.

it's still unconfirmed. just be patient. it'll get confirmed eventually.

edit:
wait, there's no fee included... that explains the long wait.

Since you sent it with no fee, it is unlikely to become confirmed. In a few days (three I think) blockchain.info will allow you to resend the transaction. When that happens, resend the transaction but make sure that you include a fee. If you don't have a transaction fee, then the transaction won't confirm. you can check http://www.cointape.com/ to see what the current fee is for getting a transaction confirmed quickly. Just don't be stingy with the fee and the transaction will confirm quickly.

actually, it has a good chance of being confirmed because it's a high priority transaction. which, if I'm not mistaken, are supposed to be free of charge (though miners can still choose not to accept them.).

The "very soon" is just an estimate. You used to be able to send a large tx without fees, but with the high volume, miners would rather confirm the ones with fees.

Not really! Actually some miners are accepting tx free transactions if the tx's priority is on top of the high priority tx list. You could check the tx's priority on the mempool https://statoshi.info/dashboard/db/fee-and-priority-estimates. But I have to say to be safe for the tx to be confirmed seemlessly, you need to include the fees.

To prevent this from happening again set Multibit to include a fee by default.  Go to the Preferances tab, then Fees.  0.10 mBTC per kB should let you send without any issues in the future.

Correct me if I'm wrong for I'm new in the ways of bitcoin.

According to wiki on transaction fees (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees)

Quote
A transaction may be safely sent without fees if these conditions are met:
  • It is smaller than 1,000 bytes.
  • All outputs are 0.01 BTC or larger.
  • Its priority is large enough (see the Technical Info section below)

Looking at OP's transaction on blockchain.info, it seems to fulfill all 3 criteria. So shouldn't it be fine without fees?

its fine but it still depends on the miners if they will accept a transaction without fee to pay them and it also depends on the current number of unconfirmed transactions in the network, if i am a miner ofcourse i will choose the transactions which i will get much fees instead of those who dont pay

In the worst case scenario your transaction will not be confirmed and those funds will come back to you. I think you need to study a little bit more if you want to use BTC.  Wink

I have the same problem. So many confirmations already but it is not being credited to my user id 1ced.

I already emailed support but no reply.

I sent 0.15 bitcoin and 0.001 but nothing shows on account!!

Both has so many confirmations on blockchain. I think they are already stealing our deposits and they think we will just be quiet about it!!

Please do not hijack other people's threads for different problems. You have a service problem with some service, this thread is for a bitcoin transaction problem. If you have a service problem, you aren't going to get an answer here.

oke very many thanks for your information about the HOSTAGE of by bitcoins (in fact I have in totaal  less than 1 BTC)

I am going to read this page again, because this info is very interesting for me

concluding: just wait, when time is on your side
concluding: watch some bitcoin-fee-information site, to know the approximately average fee you must give away

again, thank you
