It this procedure legal? I mean websites layout are usually protected by copyright laws, right? Do you change something in the look or code to avoid being prosecuted by owner of original website?

Yeahh making clone or making similar functionality website may get you into legal process. So yeah we need to change the website fully to avoid any legal case. Yes its legal, remember it is clone from how the website is looking you would provide me and can be modified to how you would like it to be. You can also make your own copyright law. |

how this will work if i give you a custom scripted made website to clone its design ?
if you are cloning a wordpress site design then you will make a wordpress theme or you will install wordpress for me and set the clone design ?

Probably a dumb question as I've forgotten everything I know about web design, but is it possible to turn any website into something that can be inserted into wordpress?
I've got an old site that needs tinkering with that was designed with netobjects fusion but have no copy of it to mess with and I can't be bothered to redesign it from scratch. I assume it's no but it's worth asking.
