The title says it all.
I am looking for an easy way (I am not really tech-savvy) to extract data points from the blockchain.info charts to import into an excell-like program, so I can look at ratios of different metrics etc.

TIA !

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

extract data points from the blockchain.info charts to import into an excell-like program

Normally you could just get the data in JSON:

e.g., for the chart:

Just add &format=json
 - http://blockchain.info/charts/market-cap?timespan=all&format=json

Except at the moment that is displaying an error -- "Unknown Exception".

Sometimes there are multiple sources for the data.  E.g., BitcoinCharts has the ability to display a table of the data in the charts -- just click "Load raw data".
