The reason I specifically asked for a coin listed in Poloniex is because it's where mostly ETH profits are and these profits might likely be traded again for another coin in the same exchange.  I could be wrong but it seems like a logical thing to do for a trader.

Personally I am having an extremely difficult time getting excited about anything in crypto outside of ethereum and monero.  

Bitcoin looks to me like it's a dead man walking.  TBTB don't want to increase the block size limit to 2mb even though hard drive space and bandwidth availability has probably gone up 10x per dollar since the original 1mb limit.  Bitcoin_classic may hardfork but it doesn't look like they have the resources to support developers to the ones who say they will walk away.  It seems increasingly like something very bad is going to happen to bitcoin.

I have a lot of confidence in decentralized currency being a player in the future but not much is clear to me now.  Monero and ethereum are the only ones that made sense which is why I can't bring myself to sell even though I think eth is going back down (since all this money is coming into polo these have to be old time bitcoin whales imo).

Edit:  There is also Anonymints theoretical coin which I'd be excited about but it seems unlikely to transpire at this point.  He doesn't seem to have the resources to create it or the ability to get along with others enough to get a team together or leverage pooled resources.

(Sorry for ignoring the poloniex limitation.  Good places to put your money seem hard enough to find to me that I'm willing to go out of my way to do it.)

If I was in a better position to do this for a year I would take profits and invest in mining equipment.  It's a bit like insurance against loss if you sell to fiat and pay it off and then a way to keep investing for free without the risk of losing the gains you took.

It can be mostly fake volume with the insiders buying from themselves.

And they can then use that to sell off more of their premines to greater fools who think the pump is real volume.

For me it indicates the insiders are getting out and dumping it on the greater fools. Just don't be the last man out the door when the stampede (waterfall collapse) dump starts.

Remember the market caps for altcoins are lies. There isn't that amount of capital invested in them. These are just pumped prices by insiders buying from themselves. Much easier to do that when you control the float from a deceitful premine as is the case with Dash and Ethereum (buying the ICO from themselves).

They have a agreement with Microsoft and use also a Blocksize-Minimizer, so that they are able to bring down the Blocksize of around 5-10%. Very interesting concept what could be probably implemented in Bitcoin core, to work further with just 1 MB Blocksize.

I like Silkcoin and aslo Monero is good.  The newest Silkcoin will be very good and right now is very cheap.  I think also monero is very cheap so i will keep buying more.  Ethereum seems like maybe its a not real price and could crash and moserable burn if the vitalik say they run out of money again lol

Has nxt completeted the turing? I know that they have promised to beat ethereum to it but it seems thag the case is not it.  MONERO seems to be the best currency on this planet.  And the charts of poloniex show this to be the truth.  LOng term holders.  IT IS perhaps the truth that currencies that have now stood the test of time will soon be respected.   I think etehereum is goos but not to make money any more.  Or for the user.  It is too difficult to use. To addition I value privacy so Monero seems a good place to bet for all this argument.

XVC has never had a double spend or had code problems.  There are some that worry about its instant transactions because John-connor refuses to release a full whitepaper describing how he has solved the byzantine generals problem,  but no instant transfer coins have solved that problem yet.
On the other hand xvc is the only other coin besides btc that polo will accept with 1 confirmation, so it is the fastest coin to exchange coin.

Other than that  the code problems were accusations of copyright infringement because John-connor didn't add in the appropriate acknowledgement to bitcoin/peer coin while referencing their code.
In his 1 year timeliness he does indicate that he will have all copyrights in place before moving out of beta so this too will be a moot point by then.

I think it will. James (jl777) was the mover-and-shaker in the Nxt AE space in 2014. When they lost him, they lost a major ecosystem builder.
