Hello,

TECSHARE has mentioned to me via steam that my old account ccliu has been doing some shady shit: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1325162.0

It is, of course, not me. I have no been active for around 2 years. This is one of my old threads with an address I can access now: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=94555.msg1045818#msg1045818

The address is 1UV4DwJ14CgNL4AigbxUxnExwMNxHiTzc

I have signed a message from that address, the signature is: HLupYhvPQYkIlxT0ENSSn4DLveBgB2lhaP3t0JzeUkkDZrekyO1pIjtTAdR4n7rRL8oG0CMHB0uITSm mOMql46o=

The message is: I am the original owner of the account ccliu, which has been hijacked and used to scam. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1325162.0

Thanks.

Thanks.
Signature/message quoted & verified

P.S. Care to explain? ->
even if he does shows proof of ownership, a recount of how exactly the account was hacked would be necessary and an explanation as to why he turned a blind-eye to use of his account.
Sadly, Altcoin4life is the victim again, I'd guess -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1295650.msg13542196#msg13542196

I didn't turn a blind eye, I stopped my activity in BCT and turned off email notifications. There's no 2 factor here

These guys should stop receiving accounts as collateral only ending up selling them back to scammers.. It's ruining this already shit hole forum.

15 days of lag between public posting and him making a statement about it after 2 years of inactivity is not exactly a negligent amount of time. As far as how it got hacked, he has been inactive since the latest forum hack.
