A recent publication by the International Business Times finally sheds some light on how terrorist organization ISIS has never used Bitcoin in the past. While many people strongly feel the popular digital currency offers perfect anonymity, it is one of the most transparent payment solutions in the world today. Moving Bitcoin funds around the world on an anonymous level is not possible for long, and terrorists prefer other payment options, such as cash and bank transfers.

Governments have said to take the necessary actions to make it harder to buy and sell Bitcoin and physical gold and prepaid credit cards as they were suspecting terrorist groups from using these options to fund their operations. Now europol is saying that Bitcoin hasn't been used by terrorist, the governments will still not pull back their restrictions against Bitcoin. It's simply an anti Bitcoin campaign by the governments as they will grab everything to make Bitcoin look bad.

If one wants to ban and fully control anything, then one just has to tie it to terrorism.
Bitcoin has been tied to latest Paris attacks...

The cool thing about Bitcoin is, that if it had ever been discovered to be used by terrorists, it would be incredibly simple to prove it. No-one has ever publicly attempted to use Bitcoin's features to tie it to terrorist groups, presumably because that evidence has up to now never been collected. Not to say it's never happened, it could easily done. But no proof exists, so why do we hear a news story titled "Bitcoin not used by terrorists" or "Bitcoin possibly used by terrorists"?
