Bitcoin may not be the world's favorable currency today, but it might become the world reserve currency in the future. Holding Bitcoin may also help with avoiding inflation due to its deflationary nature, even if it never lifts off anymore from here. So, I guess I use it as an alternative retirement fund.

I have bitcoin because I like the idea of having money stored elsewhere other than a bank or a safe.
There's a lot of freedom that comes with bitcoin and protecting your own wallet as well. Having bitcoin can be an option to save up money and is a investment at the same time as well.

my main reason for buying and holding bitcoin is because i believe in bitcoin and expect it to become more popular. so because of the popularity the price will go up and having bitcoin now that the price is low becomes a good investment for the future.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

My reason for buying bitcoins its good to invest nowadays, plus I have my own reasons.
The bitcoin is low on this moment but I believe it will change soon to a higher amount.

I'm not scared to lose some money, I think I'm gonna make a bit of profit.

I have a Bitcoin and I'm very happy about that. I myself mining.
That lasted very long indeed but it is worth it. I'm going to wait for a good value, then I sell it.

So I have to wait and see.

Bitcoin is a digital money and the value of its rising and is going in a good flow at present it might be little low but its a like trade market where the price is going up and down as per the trading of all the users. So having bitcoins now will sure give benefits in the future.

For a risk free transaction with low transaction charges compared to bank charges. Well said no personal information required which is true. In a short term existence its growth is found high, which surely make this an investment for future

I guess "Fuck the banks" = "Capital preservation"?

For me its fine if the the market makes my Bitcoin savings do down 90% one day or up 900% another day. What annoys me is the 2% (or more) annual devaluation inherently built into fiat such as USD.

I would add the great investment characteristic of the coin in this particular period of history. We're on the verge of a great revolution in the financial system, and holding bitcoins is being a part of that.

I am holding Bitcoins Because its a digital Currency and its free to earn through this site by signature campaign, and its prices are going up. Another option is i am able to play gambling with out reveling my  identity and transactions are very fast and low cost. Its a good savings for life. Its just like holding Gold which is always exchange able when in difficulty time.

The best thing to do mate. I gambled only once and lost, so no more gambling for me.
