Why is the currency risk placed on the Investor?

Because the investor wants to make a profit?
I mean, it's the lender that wants to get some intrest on his coins, so he's the one at risk.

I agree there are way to much scammers in the loanforum nowadays, so the risk has become more or less unacceptable (i closed my loanservice a while ago, since the risk was outgrowing the profit at a rapid pace)
