What happened:: Hey guys, I was looking for a cheap copy of CSGO, and I saw
this guy. He goes by the name of althunteruk. He was looking for offers, and I offered 0.02 and he responded that he had recieved a better offer of 0.022, and that buyer was going first. I really wanted the game copy so I said I'd pay 0.025 and I'd also go first.
He agreed, but gave me a dodgy screenshot of
where the game came from. I told him I needed him to link me his profile, and comment in his comment board just to show proof of his ownership, but he declined, saying -
Its not about time if my boss sees me on that game (tremorgames) website again im going to get a written warning its not worth my job for $10 lol
Seems legit, he responded this earlier -
Sorry about the delay had to redownload gyazo again
So he is allowed to download Gyazo but not allowed on a simple site at work?
I then offered him a deal. I send 0.01 first, he sends me the codes, then I send the rest. Within a few
seconds I received a response, accepting my offer.
So I send the bitcoin. But hey, hey, he goes offline straight after I say -
First transaction has been made. If you are a scammer I have proof, because I made a note in the TX.
Awaiting your code.
(It turns out this note is client side, not broadcasted to the whole network :3)
I went to sleep straight after that, and for the past 10 hours he's been offline. I wonder for how long more.
