At the end of this month I will have to travel to Argentina. It will be an interesting trip, but I'm worried a bit by the capital controls, difference between official and black market exchange rates, the confiscation of cash at airports and other regulations this socialist administration might have come up with that I don't know about.

Any advice as to not losing money in unfavorable exchange rates and other tips? What amount can you take with you in cash?

I'll probably be using localbitcoins.com . Any other good places to find people who to trade euro/bitcoin with?

Thanks for the help!

You might wanna re-ask your question over on the Spanish boards, you'll also likely find there some local people with whom to trade BTC:
