It is kinda of silly, but it's betting just for fun. Who knows if it isn't already pre-recorded. Supposedly, millions of people watch it instead of/in addition to the Super Bowl. If enough people are interested in watching something that can be bet on, there will be book that will offer it, no matter how silly it would be to bet on it. For example, betting on the Oscars, the weather, who will win the presidency, etc.
