I'm confused on the odds.  Shouldn't that .003 bet pay .009 on 2:1 odds?

Odds payout is 1:1 . so get betting 0.003 you will get 0.006 (your bet back + prize)

One of the things keeping me from playing is the 2.7% house edge for roulette, considering there are any number of places to gamble online with a <1% HE. Although I guess that difference is small enough to where I probably shouldn't worry about it, especially given short term variance...

As for 1%-2.7%  i also think that there is no big difference if you are not mega professional player and betting all days long..
You can look at our games history. For some time , for example we played 5 games with only one bet in each and this bets wins . Not 1:1 bets, but bets to Split !

You say it's ordinary, but there have only been 6 wins on a split bets all time. That's only 5% of all wins thus far, and considering how many more lost split bets there are, it's definitely not an ordinary thing.

Stretched a little bit )) i mean none the less Split wins . What is most remarkable is that Split was only one bet (no more bets at all)  in some games and wins.
