im a ico holder too but all this crap of $2-$5 when it launches is silly ico was at 10 cents. you will think people wont sell for $1 you think they wont sell for 50cents. hell some might dump at 0.20cents. all this talk of eth not being better than lisk i just find funny. lisk not gonna beat ETH.

ETH is 10 times better than bitcoin, i dont see it beating it actually its falling and bitcoin is rising. people basing the judgements on the IOU and they dont realize the harm that drop will do when it actually launches. that IOU will give investors a idea of a ceiling and then just expect some nasty dumps. and very little BTC.

ETH and REP were not IOU on any major exchange. these small exchanges just making a quick buck and there is no one buying but themselves. i said before anyone buying it now on the sites is literally buying a premine. if they dumping at these prices with only a few hundred thousand imagine what a few million would do.

very little is being talked of lisk dev but vitalik is everywhere.

like i said eth cant beat bitcoin lisk aint gonna beat ETH,

radium cant beat factom
expanse cant beat ETH too. expanse had better feature than ETH and that got a cap of $2.5million so with the added features on LISK it would be overvalued. with its ICO $5.9million i invested early had i known it would go to $5.9million i had think twice. but please hype it down a little so we ico holders can make a tidy profit and sell

Ethereum CANNOT Beat Bitcoin

Lisk CAN beat Ethereum

Lisk CANNOT Beat Bitcoin

the fact that you made that statement shows you think lisk is crap. lisk and ETH should beat BITCOIN but it wont. the target is bitcoin not eth. IOC coin chameleon blockchain id say is better going to release next month i think

Finally got some lisk today. Not sure where it is heading but there is enough heat in this thread alone to make the price sky rocket.

So basically, we are being held up on launch because people are morons and/or cannot read or choose not to read?

This is why my faith in humanity slips with each passing year.

Sigh.

Whats the purpose of this token other than a quick snatch of ur cash? What party issues them? Does it come from devs or their relatives or someone else? Could it be though of as a third-party initiative and if thats the case what happens with these preliminary tokens after the official platform launch? Will there be a swap to lisk mainnet tokens? Unless they had wanted to rekt their own investors they wouldnt have started off this pre-exist-closed-alpha launch on yobit knowing its the most stinkiest gypsy shithole across all exchanges. Do lisk shareholders automatically get credited pre-tokens? How is the price of it pegged to the main token?

https://blog.lisk.io/official-statement-on-yobit-lisk-iou-token-trading-cca8e7e52a72#.jihgy1c85

There is no purpose other than for yobit to quickly snatch BTC from ignorant people.  And they become a more well-known exchange in the process.

If Lisk IOU on yobit follows the same price pattern as Ethercoin IOU, then real Lisk price would have a floor of about 0.004 BTC on mainnet launch.

Ethereum had a price floor of about 20% of the highest price that Ethercoin IOU traded at prior to launch.

This is informative. Whoever wrote this on their blog is schmuck.

...
"According to YoBit, if you buy these IOU tokens, they will be swapped for real LISK once the mainnet is official launched.
Let us make this clear: YoBit, nor anyone else, has access to LISK at this moment!
As it is, they have used their exchange status to adopt a very early trading opportunity. In response to this, we want to make it clear for the crypto community that
the Lisk team does not endorse or appreciate early IOU Token trading on the YoBit exchange or any other exchange."
...

Either he/she/it is lying through their teeth or yobit is wrapped up and is soon to close. IOU means they owe users a token, real one, where the word 'real' underpins the token being real as diametrically opposite to thin air theyre selling. They took the obligation binding on them that they'll be funding the swap. If not honored this way exchange closure will be probable then. Unless they might reckon that the lisk launch will be a failure, and scoop up cheap mainnet tokens to shortly throwing them into swap for prepumped iou shit. Get profited and delist the fuck outta it. What exchange was the first to offer ETC IOU? Bittrex, I take it. Have they done it in yobit style or ETH crew has been informed about what bittrex is doing.

I think at this point, it doesn't matter whether they have bought Lisk or not. They probably made enough money through the trading frenzy to buy Lisk on the market, make the swap and still sit there with a hefty profit. But then again, they'd be putting their reputation on the line. And that is the single most important reason why people trust them. It would be good enough for me, because I don't see anyone driving such a thing like yobit into the ground for a few hundred BTC. Still, the price is, I fear, inflatet at this moment. I bought some, sold some, very conservatively, made a little profit, that's it. Apart from that, it's like Trumpcoin at the moment: Some name makes it what it is. No real connection to the name giver.
